Whether you’ve enjoyed journaling for years, never considered it or are somewhere in-between, please join us as we explore the value of journaling for wellness. This workshop includes a brief discussion about the health benefits of journaling, short and sweet freewriting exercises and tips about how to sustain greater self-compassion and self-awareness through writing. All are welcome to attend; no prior writing experience necessary. Please bring a notebook,

Learn About Lara:

A graduate of the Program for Writers at Warren Wilson College (MFA CreativeWriting), Lara Tupper taught writing at Rutgers University for many years and now presents workshops for writers around the world. For ten years she was a faculty member at Kripalu Center for Yoga and Health, where she led journaling workshops and retreats for thousands of guests seeking wellness practices. She is founder of Swift Ink Stories, a writing platform for creative expression, and the award-winning author of three books: Amphibians (Leapfrog Global Fiction Award), Off Island, (finalist, Housatonic Book Award), and A Thousand and One Nights.
